This is the only card published by W.A. Reid, that I have seen with the same brown paper border and white frame that was used by the Torry's and James MacLean of Pictou.

The card is addressed to Miss Catherine Baillie, Box, 811, Westville, Pictou Co., NS. The message is unusually long for a postcard and reads as follows. "Well Catherine I arrived here safe and sound last Wednesday about half past light. I have only seen four boys and two girls since I came up. I went up to the nearest neighbors, Bobbie Moore's. It is about two miles away. How I wished I was back in dear old Westville Saturday night. It was cold and stormy and I was out in the rain but never mind I will be back this Sat. rain or shine I am coming down on the six o'clock train. Don't answer this as there from Bridgeville has no more mail days. Be up to Westville before I get home the seven o'clock are. I remain your brother Rourie"
